Processes involved in fanslation (n4tsuyu's version)

Some of you may be wondering why I am producing translations at a much slower rate than before. It is probably a good time now to tell you about the process I have adopted.

I was a total noob in the scanlation industry and I work alone, so I experimented with my own workflow and the following process seemed to be the most manageable. After going through a constant tedious process of reading and research, I will identify the title for my project and start the fanslation process.

The entire process contains 6 steps, namely,

  1. Downloading the raw chapter.

2. Cleaning and redrawing the raw images as required.

3. Transferring the Chinese text into a document file for translation purposes.

4. Translating the text into English, then leaving them to sit for a few days.

5. Editing translated text

6. Typesetting and then posting them online.

I will refer to the steps in this write up in the future when I update about my translation progress.
